AngelWorx is a program that matches community volunteers with isolated people.  AngelWorx volunteers (or Angels) write letters and perform home visits to seniors and people with disabilities and are encouraged to perform acts of kindness for them. Angels receive quarterly calendars that suggest fun, thoughtful things to do for their VIPs.

Join the fun and dedication of helping isolated individuals by signing up to be an Angel today. All Angel volunteers undergo training and background checks before being paired individually with a VIP.

We also offer opportunities for groups, teens and elementary-school age children to participate.

Other AngelWorx program includes:
· AngelCorps (for organizations or groups)
· TeenAngel (volunteer opportunitiesfor children and young adults)
· LittlestAngels (for children in elementary school)
· AngelWorx Rapid Response Team (for emergency volunteer service)

AngelCorps: Volunteer projects for groups (businesses, congregations, social clubs, students, etc.) that might include light yard work, light housekeeping, minor home repairs, food drives, special projects and fund-raising. We have the structure groups need to make volunteering successful.

TeenAngel: Intergenerational activities, such as pen pals, socialization, light yard work and computer instruction are provided by teens who are volunteers in this program. Must be 12 to 18 years old and complete a volunteer application and confidentiality agreement.

LittlestAngel: Elementary-age students who write letters, draw pictures or participate in other pen-pal activities participate in this program. Many classrooms use the LittlestAngel program to enhance writing lessons and to teach community service. The parent or teacher of these volunteers complete a volunteer application.

Rapid Response Team: This is a group of emergency volunteers for weather-related or other critical situations. These volunteers will be on-call and will be required to complete a volunteer application, confidentiality agreement and submit to a background check. For more information, contact our volunteer program coordinator.
